This app completely failed to deliver on a recent trip to Japan. Everything it translated was complete gibberish, totally inaccurate. Save your dollar.

Save your 99 cents and buy a bottle of water. This app mostly produces indecipherable gibberish. Even when the photo is crystal clear, the simplest translation returns nothing of value. Dont waste your time trying.

Its all nonsense!

I saw the negative reviews and thought, "Surely, these users are doing something wrong." After all, Ive seen positive reviews on actual tech websites! Dont be fooled. This is one worthless app. I tried it first on computer images of foreign signs. Complete gibberish. Ok, but maybe the digital photos mess with the camera. So I tried foreign language book titles or pictures from these texts or the texts themselves. All gibberish. So I went outside to try it on foreign language billboards in my neighborhood. Unintelligible gibberish. And I dont mean it translated things wrong. It "translated" them into random letters & symbols & numbers. Every time. "Alto" became a stream of 20 letters, numbers and symbols, none of which appeared in Alto or Stop. Aside stealing $1 from me, this app didnt do anything. I want to believe in the concept, but this app is pure garbage. Dont waste your time or money. It doesnt work and should not be an option to purchase.

Im in Japan right now in this app does not work. Its a complete rip off and I should be refunded my money!!!

When a take a careful photo of neatly typed text it shows up as complete nonsense . Unfortunate because its a good concept. Waste of money at this point !

Tried to use it on regular textbook, on Facebook posts, etc., .... Have no idea what it calls English, but English, as I know it, was never what I got.

I had a dollar to waste and this was what I chose to waste it on. DIDNT TRANSLATE A SINGLE GERMAN WORD!

This app does not work for any Chinese to English translation AT ALL.
